Q: Just purchased the unlimited license for Video Lightbox. I cannot get this to work properly from following the directions on your web page. After inserting a gallery on my page in Dreamweaver, it previews perfectly but when I upload it to my site the graphic and video are missing. What folder should the graphics and video be in? What folder should the gallery be saved in? Does it matter? Your site does not give good step by step instructions as to where all these files go.
Here is the procedure I followed:
1) I added videos from an folder in my website as instructed
2) I published to a folder called Gallery1 in the root directory of my local site
3) I saved the Gallery in a Documents folder on my computer
4) I published the gallery to an .html file in the root directory of of my site
5) I previewed the results in my browser. Everything works perfectly.
6) I upload the the .html file, the Gallery1 folder with files, and the .bak01 file which appeared in my root directory and of course the image files from my Images folder.
Result: A question mark appears in the browser on line. Clicking on it launches the window with a spinning wait icon, evidently looking for a video that isn't there.
What am I doing wrong?
A: Generated folder should be into the same folder with your page (where you added VideoLightBox) on your server. If you get "question marks" instead of thumbnails, it means that you didn't upload VideoLightBox folder on your server at all or upload it into wrong place. Please check it.
For example, you have the following folders and files on your server:
pages/
page1.html
page2.html
new_pages/
page3.html
page4.html
main_page.html
So, if you add VideoLightBox into:
* "main_page.html" page - generated folder should be into a root folder on your server;
* "page1.html" or "page2.html" - generated folder should be into "pages" folder on your
server;
* "page3.html" or "page4.html" - generated folder should be into "new_pages" folder on your server.
.bak file is generated by "Insert to page" wizard. You need not to upload .bak files on your server.
If we buy an "unlimited websites" license will that allow everyone on our web video player team to use the software or do we need to purchase a license per user? When I try an FTP upload of my VideoLightBox files it gives this error message: "Login Failed. Can you tell me how to open the lightbox video file?
I have a html5 video lightbox question. Can you please let me know how I can adjust the lightbox jquery video Overlay Shadow setting so the screen background is dimmed further? It's unclear how to fix this.
We currently use VideoLightBox for our html video template YouTube videos and we are experiencing some problems in IE browser. By having a demo Ning site and hosting video playlist with video light box i ll be convinced. I've had some success creating a video gallery at our embed web site. Your "customize video" section in the software is deceiving in that it shows various player skins.

We have 3 videos that play YouTube embedded videos using the video gallery lightbox VideoLightBox tool. I selected the check box for "Thumbnail titles" and select the text option. The videos work but you can't view the lightbox html5 video thumbnail for the videos.
